Memahami "APPLICATION LETTER" Dalam Bahasa Inggris


Berikut ini sebuah contoh Surat Lamaran Pekerjaan dalam Bahasa Inggris yang bisa anda gunakan sebagai latihan untuk memahami isinya. Agak berbeda dengan Surat Lamaran dalam Bahasa Indonesia, Surat Lamaran dalam Bahasa Inggris mempunyai fokus penekanan pada informasi tentang pendidikan, pengalam kerja dan keahlian yang dimiliki dan apa yang bisa ditawarkan kepada perusahaan. Selain itu, dalam Surat Lamaran berbahasa Inggris si pelamar bisa menunjukkan kepercayaan dirinya untuk bisa menangani Job Deskripsi yang diinginkan.

In my recent search for jobs within the United States government, I was able to find the advertisement for the Department of Energy on the USAJobs website. This job deals with many of the issues that have been brought up in my studies at Ohio University. I would like to apply for the job as a Foreign Affairs Specialist.  4.

With the relevant coursework studied in college, I will be able to keep up with all the different situations that may arise even though my government experience is limited. My college experience includes classes such as international relations and international law. Many of my courses investigated the thorny and layered situations of nuclear development and management. Through those studies, I have gained an understanding of the complex international system that would make me an asset to your team. 5.

I’m also serving an internship with Senator Sherrod Brown, of Ohio, this summer. Having this chance to work with one of the most involved and energetic Senators in Congress will help me learn more about the U.S. government and its inner workings. Getting the chance to be out in the field will allow me to gain the knowledge and experience I could not get while sitting in a classroom. My schoolwork and internship deepen my focus and drive within my field.  My desire to learn has helped me to graduate from college in a little over three years. 6.

1.  The first thing that you should write down is your address. This way, the company has your address in case they want to send you something in reply.
2.  The next is the address of the company. This just shows you who and where you are sending the letter.
3.  After the address you should write a greeting. Because this is a formal letter you should put Dear Mr or Mrs or Ms ... Only use this when you know the name of the person you are sending the letter to. If there is no contact information it is better to write To Whom It May Concern.
4.  The first paragraph shows how you found out about the job.
5.  In the second paragraph, you should talk a little bit about your experience and knowledge of the job that you are applying for.
6.  The third paragraph is a short explanation of activities that show your experience. Try and keep it short because you will also have a resume which shows all of your activities. Try and talk about the most useful experience you’ve had.
7.  This last paragraph is the closing. Here you should thank the person for reading your letter and sometimes give a phone number that you could be contacted at. Keep this very short.
8.  Finally at the end of your letter, write Sincerely, leave some space and then type in your name and email. When you are finished, make sure you sign the letter before putting it in the envelope.
9.  Lastly, Enclosure: Resume, means that you are sending a resume with your cover letter. This is optional.
