How To Start A Class?

Here are some expressions can be used to start a class in the class


Transition to Work
It’s time to start now. /           Let’s start our lesson now.      /           Let’s begin.
Let’s get started.         /           Is everybody ready to start?   /           OK, let’s start.

Absences
Who is absent today?  /           Who is missing?          /           Who isn’t here?
Has anyone seen … ?  /           Where is … today?     /           Is … sick?

Lateness
Why are you late?       /           Where have you been?
I see. Well, sit down and let’s get started.
That’s all right. Sit down and we can start.
Try not to be late next time.
Don’t let it happen again, all right?
Try to be here on time next time.

Apologizing
I’m sorry.        /           Sorry.              /   I’m very sorry.        /           So sorry.
